How RedToe Works for Artists
Sell Your Art. Keep Control.
RedToe was created by artists who were frustrated with the rising commissions charged by online galleries and marketplaces.
Many platforms take a large percentage of every sale, leaving artists with less of the money they've worked hard to earn.
RedToe does things differently.
You set your own prices, manage your own listings, and keep control of your work. Instead of taking a commission after the sale, RedToe charges a simple 5% listing fee when you list an artwork for sale.
That means no surprise deductions later and no ongoing commissions eating into your profits.
1. Create Your Artist Account
Sign up and create your artist profile.
Add your bio, artist statement, social links, and portfolio to help collectors discover your work.
2. List Your Artwork
Upload images of your artwork and add:
- Title
- Description
- Dimensions
- Medium
- Price
- Availability
When you publish a listing, a 5% listing fee is charged based on your nominated sale price.
Example
| Artwork Price | Listing Fee |
|---|---|
| $100 | $5 |
| $500 | $25 |
| $1,000 | $50 |
| $2,000 | $100 |
3. Get Discovered
Your artwork becomes searchable by collectors browsing RedToe.
Buyers can explore artists, styles, mediums, and collections from around Australia and beyond.
4. Sell Directly
When your artwork sells, the sale is between you and the buyer.
You receive the full sale price because there are no additional commissions taken from the sale.
